I really love sitting and creating backgrounds with Distressed Inks, and usually I create cards from them later (I keep a folder full of backgrounds). I especially love using small snippets of a card size background...which means 1 background can make up to 5 CAS cards!
Making these types of backgrounds will force me to embrace imperfection and optimize the best parts of what I do and they all start as a "work in progress" (just like how I am trying to be a better me)! So, I thought this sentiment went perfect with the technique and could be an encouragement for a beautiful girlfriend who's been working on her professional brand.
Enjoy!

I really like the background you created with distressed inks; the colors are so soft. I especially like how you used it here. It makes for a beautiful card.

I so love that saying and I agree 100%. What a beautiful little masterpiece....fabulous framing. I like to use snippets from old backgrounds, too...they're great for sentiments.
