Greetings SCS! This is my first upload, so please let me know if I did anything wrong. This card was created for this week's Tea Party. Karen, the recipient, likes whales and dolphins, so I decided to go with those.
I started with the whale and coral die-cuts, which are both from Stamperia's "Artic World" collection. Then I dug out the blue background paper, which already had the dolphins on it. I got it many years ago, and unfortunately, I have forgotten who made it.
After playing around with the layout a little, I decided that something needed to go above the whale. So I fussy cut the "Sea Adventure" collage element from Stamperia's "Song of the Sea" Collectables booklet. I also cut a wavy piece from some sand-patterned paper that came in an ancient DCWV pad called "Travel". I used that to make the ocean bottom.
Finally, I glued everything down, before adding the seashell and the sand dollar embellishments. They're both Dress It Up buttons. I cut off the shanks and used sandpaper to smooth the backs.
And that's it! I had a lot of fun making this card, and look forward to participating in other tea parties!

Beautiful. That whale is really cool and I adore that fancy sentiment frame. Love the deep deep blue of the sea and your addition of coral and shells at the bottom are a lovely embellishment. Wonderful card.
Welcome to the Tea Party. I'm so glad to see you join us and look forward to seeing your cards in the future. You do have a typo in your keyword -- you left off one of the "T"s. It should be MMTPT813. Hit the edit photo button, add the extra T, and save and your card will be added to the Tea Party Gallery.
