This is my card for CC988. Karen is our hostess and she chose blueberry bushel and white for her color combo. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I chose to use green for a 3rd color.
I needed a thank you card for our neighbor who invited us to their winter home in FL for a week. It was a wonderful week of sunshine and warm temps.
I decided to try the fractured card technique for my card. I followed this video from Lisa Curcio for instructions on how to do the technique. You can see her card here on SCS.
The designer paper is from the Stampin' Up "berry delightful" collection. The blueberry images are from the "berry blessings" stamp set.
The sentiment is also Stampin' Up - it's from the Paper Pumpkin "welcome inn" kit.
That's my card for this week. I hope you can play along. I am anxious to see what everyone does with these colors.

I was thinking I would see all blueberries in the gallery- I'm happy to see one bunch at least!! Beautiful dsp and such a pretty accent to your blueberry branch - lovely!

Beautiful card Mary! I love the plaid paper with the floral - such a classic combo. I took a look at the technique and will need to try it. I have so much DSP and would really like to start using it up.

How fun that we both chose the Fractured Card Technique for this week! I love that our cards look so different from each other. It's interesting how the placement of that first square dictates how the rest of the card is going to look! i love the DS papers you chose and that great greeting! What lovely neighbors!

Your theme and pattern choices really make this pretty and cheerful card stand out among the many fractured technique cards I've seen. It has such cozy, patchwork feel.

Gorgeous card, Mary! Wonderful use of the card technique. Love how you used the blueberry paper & stamps. The sentiment is perfect for your neighbors. Beautifully done.
