So I kept going back and forth between this cute Santa Card and the design layout of this blue beauty seen here in Shelly's gallery and combined the ideas. So I kept the plaid background theme and colors of the Santa card and used the blue one as a jump start of a sketch if that makes sense. ( second cup of joe is still loading) the elements of the bear were cut some time ago when the Dies arrived and I have been pushing them around on my desk trying to decided if I liked these browns together ( there are other shades cut also) so, I ended up inking all the edges of the pieces with DOX vintage photo and that tied the shades together better for me, used some watercolor paint for cheek blush which didn't really show so added some white dots to that. The bears arms have foam dots under them and the sentiment is tied onto the wrapped sheer with a second pop dot at the end to hold it in place. Shelly, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Julie & tfl.

This is such a cute card. I love the plaid background and of course the Christmas theme. I want to start making Christmas cards again even though it's February!
