I've tried to sketch the flowers as in the picture, water colored a first layer of cream over the whole paper, then I've started to add gray and black all around the flowers, painted the white ones with white metallic paint and the red one with 3 hues of red and metallic paint, went over the pencil lines with the micron pen and added some white gel pen details
layered this on a black base and I love how this turned out.

Your beautifully sketched flowers have such lovely dimension against your amazing background, Anita. I love the pops of red against the subtle blacks and grays. Your water coloring is always fabulous!
