This card has so many elements I enjoy seeing on cards: beautiful layers, text, embossed panel, lovely focal point and wonderful embellishments. My original plan was to use Polly's layout as is and just change the colors and focal point but I didn't have a text stamp for the bg that I liked paired with my patterned EFs. So I went old-school and stamped the text onto the main panel (old-school as this is a design I learned and used often early in my stamping days). So, I have layers and an embossed panel as well as text and embellishments. I changed her colors, focal point, placement of the text, and the sentiment and substituted thread for twine. A lot of masking of this card, but I wanted to be able to overstamp the text onto the design.
Congratulations Polly on being selected Featured Stamper. I am a big fan and thoroughly enjoyed wandering through your beautiful Gallery. I hope you enjoyed all the cards made in your honor this week. And I hope everyone finds time to do a bit of texting -- on your cards or on the phone to a friend. TFL

Love this one too. Some pretty flowers and bird and everything is just placed so well. I adore this and want to case it myself. Hugz

Gorgeous! Your BG is fantastic as always. The coloring of teal and white with gold tones is excellent. The bird with the twine detail is superb...
