I didn't have any black/tan checkered DP so I used a 3 part Square Dance stencil from the Greetery to make the checkered background that I then die cut with the bow.
I drew a gold frame around the DP panel using a Metallic Gold Sharpie, then adhered the die cut sentiment and the bow to the panel. The bow is up on foam dots and I added a little wooden heart to the center.
I added 3 acrylic hearts and adhered the DP panel to a white card base.

Clever use of the stencil for the checkerboard ribbon bow. Thanks for the inspiration. Will have to try this technique. The cross-stitch heart adds a nice touch. TFS
This is an awesome card, Julia! I love that checkered bow and all of the hearts! The font of the sentiment die cut is really fun! It just makes a person smile!

Love the colors, and I thought this box and bow was wonderful too. The font of the die is so interesting! Great job, mf!!
