I'm minimally MIXed media, but I have included a gel print background and my envelope is cut from a piece of fossil stone with a map stamped on it which didn't pan out to use as originally intended. When I saw calendars, my mind instantly went to envelopes, because that's what I tend to use old calendars for. We do have one on the wall, but nowadays all the stuff that used to be in my Filofax is now on my phone and that's my best personal organiser. The wall calendar is just for basics and to enjoy looking at.
I cut four of the little mini pictures from the back of a calendar and matted them on squares of embossed vellum, before adding to a gel print on deli paper.
Cut the envelope from a piece of fossil stone, and although I was originally going to use a temporary glue dot to close it, I ended up cutting a little slit and tucking the flap in. I'm not sure where this will go - provisionally I cut a piece of calendar which includes the date of my niece's birthday, and if I end up using it for her I'll add a little gold star or heart to the date.

I miss having a big calendar, have now downsized to a pocket size. I just don't have enough wall space to hang one. I love your little images and I don't think you're 'minimal' at all.
