The title of my card comes from a little song we sang in Primary School. I can only remember a little bit of it and have never been able to find it online but the bit I remember is "God then spoke to Robin, you must sing always but your sweetest carol keep for wintry days"
A winter bird just has to be a Robin redbreast if you are from the UK so here it is
I have literally just found the children's hymn -
God made little Robin,
In the days of Spring.
"Please," said little Robin,
"When am I to sing?"
God then spoke to Robin:
"You must sing always,
But your sweetest carol
Keep for wintry days!"
God heard Robin singing
Such a welcome song,
"Cheer up, little children!
Summer won't be long!"
God loves all the children,
And it makes him glad
If they sing like robin
When the days are sad.

I don't know that song, but I do love the idea of the robin singing its sweetest song in the winter - so cheery for us humans! Love your card, love your colouring of the image and the background. That's another PB bird stamp I just might have to have!!!
