Today's Featured Stamper is Cindy Farina. Cindy has a lovely gallery that I enjoyed browsing. I saw several cards that I would like to CASE, but this one stuck out to me. You know I need a little extra push to make a flowery card and I wanted to make a pretty flowery card for my friend Christine who was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. I went digging through my paper flowers and found this pinky/purply one that I had die cut out of WFD BG. I backed it with some plain store bought ones. Then I dug through my scraps of WFD - I always mop up my inks and watercolors with scraps of watercolor paper. And I found some bright fun colors to die cut the leaves. I decided to change the orientation of my card and change the gold to silver because I happened to grab silver ribbon before I found gold. This was a fun card to make and I hope Christine looks at it often and remembers that she has a lot of friends that are praying for her on her cancer journey.

Another beauty for this challege. What a great idea to mop up your inks with your w/c paper. Your leaves look so pretty. I am sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis. Wishing her the best.

Oh I love your layered watercolor flower, and the beautiful cord you looped around it is just stunning. The silver ribbon and matte are gorgeous on this design! Beautiful!

I love your idea of mopping up your left over inks onto water color paper. I will have to try that. The results are just fabulous!
