A new home card using a technique I've had in mind for years, no one can say I rushed into it
I can see now that I should have inked behind the house windows to help them stand out more but i was just so happy the sky had gone so well I didn't even notice. Next time!

That is lovely! And that CAS style is so unforgiving of any errors, I wouldn't have dreamt of trying to sponge on textured card but it looks fantastic.

I love this card and love the white houses the sun shines so the lights aren't lit that's why it's all white, I love the red roof it reminds me the French coast in Biarritz and I love the little red heart, sure we'll be happy in our new home

What an adorable card! I love the technique you used to highlight the one house, leaving the rest white. Adding the birds is the perfect touch!

What a beautiful welcoming card! I love your sponged sky and highlighted roof. Gorgeously CAS with lots of movement in the sky from the little birds. This is a stunner!

I love this idea and it looks wonderful. I personally think it looks great this way without the extra inking in the windows. GREAT CAS welcome card.
