A friend asked me to make a get well card for her friend who just had foot surgery, so for today's WT I went looking for something flowery to go with my red gems. This stamp set with the feather and flowers was on my to do list. I've had it for years and never used it. It's not really my style, but I'm sure it was very cheap when I bought it. I didn't have a lot of time this morning, so I needed to grab a background from my drawer and I found these two that I had made one day playing around with my gelli plate. They were a little plain and needed some script. That's when I realized that this week's TLC would be awesome on them. The hardest part was remembering what company made that stencil so I could get it out and stamp over it.

What a wonderful way to combine both challenges into a beautiful card! I love your color palette, it's so rich and warm, and the gems take everything up a notch! Beautifully done.

Two wonderful get well cards. I need to start noting which stamps I have and have not used and start using them. I am working through coloring some images that were already stamped off and that may be my next resolution.
