Years ago, I put an ad in Rubber Stamp Madness, looking for stampers to swap with. I did end up with a couple this way, no longer swapping though. One person sent me a big package of different things she'd made and one of them is the focal point of this card. I wasn't crazy about a lot of it so I never swapped back but I did save a few things. Her name was Norma and she sent the package in 2007. It was a pin but I took off the pin and used it on this card. I don't know if she drew it or it was a stamp or what. There are micro beads on her cheeks. All I did was stencil the glitter hearts and added the old old and old plastic LOVE sticker at the top. One of my best friends during childhood had a January birthday and she had a garnet ring. Thanks for the challenge, Faith!

This funky face is really eye-catching and looks perfect on this card. Glad to know I'm not the only one who keeps stuff for a very long time just waiting for the perfect need for it.

Your fabulous stencilled hearts make such a great background for an unusual but wonderful image! It has a very vintage feel, I really love how you used it and pulled everything together to make a beautiful card.
