I tried tea dying with a red zinger, the tea was a lovely red, and ended up dying my paper grey. The base of this is a dyed sheet of regular lined foolscap, with other ephemera that was sepia toned layered on top. Rubbed the top robin and egg image with some distress brown because it was too white! This is for Peeps 'Ways to use it - You're Tea-rrific' challenge!

I have never made a collage so I am mightily impressed by yours! Love the stitching on the tag and text in the background. Great card for that challenge!

A tag is a great way to start your collage and build from there. You've got a wonderful collection of vintage looking papers on this and the tea and distress ink really add to them. I love the bird/egg pic and the stitching...fab details! Thanks for playing along and showing us your "second try"..I bet the first one was pretty good, too...or at least a learning experience.

This is a beautiful vintage style card and I do love tags on cards! The vintage dp is so pretty with the tea dying and love the sweet Robin and blue egg on the tag~
