Hello there! Karen is hosting this week's color challenge with the soft colors, Bubble Bath, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam with Vanilla Cardstock for dessert.
I've been working with this rose set and thought it would be easy to test out these colors on a black and vanilla project I was working on. I added the pink and green with sponge daubers and just a hint of Pool Party with a blending brush. I wasn't thinking of the gingham ribbon initially but once i got it out for another project it seemed like a little unexpected surprise.
Thank you so very much for taking a peek. I sure hope you will play along with us for this challenge.

Well it finally happened Chris!! I knew one of these weeks we would choose the same set- and I love the softness of your blended colors and yes - the gingham ribbon is perfection! And one of these Minnesota trips I will give you a call - would love to meet up!

Chris, those roses are lovely, especially the way you colored them--so soft and kind of a vintage feel to them. The gingham ribbon is perfect, especially with the black mat around the central layer. Lovely!

Beautiful stamping of the roses, and the colorful but subtle use for today's challenge is terrific!
