Most of my paints are packed away to make space in my dining room to actually eat. But I ordered a new set and wanted to try them out. I wasn't happy with the translucency of these paints, so I did some stenciling on the background to hide some things.
The most important thing is to honor Stamples on her special week. Congratulations Leslie!

I love your card and think it is beautiful. I am sorry you didn't like the paints you got for Christmas. That is a bummer. I got some, also, but haven't used them yet. I really am anxious to, though.

Loved the creativity you used in overcoming the results you had not been pleased with. You made some very pleasing adjustments that turned out beautifully. Makes you a great artist in my book.

I absolutely love the stencilled greenery! It adds so much, and I really like your baubles, you got some lovely highlights! Hopefully when you have time to play you'll be happy with your new watercolors. I still have so much to learn, but isn't it fun playing?

A beautiful card made in honor of Leslie. Your stenciled background gives it a lovely look and the baubles are stunning. Sometimes it takes a little time to get used to a new product. It is fun learning what they will do. TFS

Gorgeous. And, the stenciling looks like you had planned it all along. It's a wonderful touch and adds more depth and color for me. Your watercoloring is fabulous. I hope you find your new set more appealing as you work with it as this looks fantastic.

I love these ornaments! The wc is varied as its nature…I’ve scrolled up at least 6 times to capture the beauty of your background leaves, gorgeous color. The ribbon another layer of beauty. I’ve long admired your style, Kathy.
