I grew up in a German community and St Nick Day was and still is well celebrated so I decided to put an old-fashioned St Nick on my 1st card of the year. I found some paper scraps that reminded me of the heavy robes the German bishops wore when my grandma lived there and dressed my image accordingly. Framed with more DSP and added a Unity sentiment tied with a glittery Velvet ribbon.

Oh, I love this Santa and his robe. The paper you have used for the robe and for framing is awesome and I love how you did the sentiment tag with the ribbon. You began the year with an awesome Christmas card.

Love your choice of a perfect St. Nick and that patterned paper for his suit is extraordinary!! I love taking part in these wonderful Christmas challenges that happen throughout the year. This year I sent out many more cards than usual, and to many more of my stamping friends so was delighted to receive such a wonderful collection of handmade cards this year!! These challenges help me get that stash ready before the last minute.

Oh, wow! Your St. Nick looks spectacular in his ornate robes. Your card is so elegant. I like the ribbon you added to your tag! I am ribbon-challenged, so these things are notable to me!

Being from around Milwaukee and having some German in me, I understand, although we didn't celebrate St. Nick. We did have stockings on Christmas day. That Santa is so St. Nick!!! Beautiful!
