I've been busy with family and haven't had a chance to craft so decided to carve out some time today. This is my first card for this round of Alphabet Challenges - I'm a few weeks behind! I used last week's sketch challenge to make this card. There was a lot of masking involved in making this card.
First, I masked the stamp to get only the window of this stamp eliminating the shutters making it a view from the inside to the outside. Next, I needed to mask all of the window frame so I could ink blend my Northern Lights because this is my A is for Alaska card. I understand that Alaska is a great place to be able to see the Northern Lights. Can you imagine living where you can just look out the window to see a sight like this?
I colored the frame with Copic markers and paper pieced the striped wall as well as the Calypso Coral which is stamped with polka dots from the Itty Bitty Background stamp set. After stamping my sentiment, I adhered it all to a Night of Navy card base.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking.
