Hope you can see the feather detail. I grabbed this background from my stash and actually remembered that it was made by using watercolor markers on an acrylic block and then stamping with it for a quick BG. I simply stamped the feather on the BG and then on a used dryer sheet. I tore the dryer sheet around the shape and glued the feathered shape just down the center so most of it is light as a feather. I plan to have a more relaxed frame of mind this year.

The dryer sheet gave a lovely feathered edge yet still let's the fun image show thru. Sadly not something I can do as I am SO incredibly allergic to the chemicals and fragrance on those things! Nice to see you in the teapot gallery, mf, after such a long absence!

Ah, I had been wondering if it was a masking tape background. I'm thinking maybe I should try my Mermaid markers and see would they work for this. The dryer sheet gives a fantastic soft feathered finish.
