For Beverly's TLC on Christmas Day, I used a card kit sent to me by Sabrina expressly for this TLC. I'm very grateful she did that because it really challenged me to make these two cards with pretty much only what she sent. The products that belonged to me were the card bases, a stencil, acetate, some sprays, circle die and blue glitter paste.
These two cards took a while because I wanted to make two cards like Anita did. I just realized that I forgot to use the gems because they fell on the floor and I couldn't find them. If I do, I'll add them and retake the picture. I even used a bit of white card that she had included with some sentiments heat embossed on. The one on the right uses the floating strips technique. I probably made these cards more difficult because I wanted to include today's sketch. I do have a little bit of the butterfly paper left, I'll use it to decorate the insides. Sabrina made the beautiful tag on the left.
This was fun, Beverly....I wish I'd had time to send someone some bits and pieces. Thanks for the challenges...only 10 more until SC1000! Wow!

These are both so pretty! I love that you cut and stretched the butterfly dps on the right hand card (our right) and all the layers and dies on both cards really add something special!

Love it! I also love how different the cards from each of us turned out. Can't wait to get home to find my envelope. I'm going to have to step it up to do something different.

I love the look you got misting the embossed background - I was curious to see what people would do with that. Love the layout on the right-hand one, and the swirling gold cord which I should do more. No takers for the "wrong" side - I should say reverse side - of the butterfly paper yet. I think I have done floating strips with exactly that DP - it's quite busy and the strips break it up nicely.
