This card is for Teapot Tuesday and the challenge of having feathers on our card. Well, let me tell you, this was a challenge. Of all the thousands of rubber stamps, no feathers. Bins of paper, no feathers. Embossing folders, no feathers there. Feather stickers, nope. I finally found this one little charm. Ok, now how to make this work. Well, clearly the card needed to be simple so as not to take away from that tiny feather. No busy background for this one. I brayered an ombre background using a new to me technique, Ombre Techniques, from the tutorials. Yay, extra cookies for me. I ended up having to cut off some of the lighter bottom part because I placed the "soar" a bit too high. Ah well, it was a fun project and hope the recipient will enjoy it.

I guess that's why these are called challenges....sometimes you really have to think outside the box. Glad you found this charm. Terrific CAS take on the feather challenge.

Your search for a feather led to you creating a fabulous CAS card, thinking outside the box, Vicky! The ombre bg looks lovely and that is a sweet little feather!
