I'm pretty proud of this crafting collaboration I did with Raleigh. He wanted to make cards for his classmates for Christmas, but he kept getting frustrated. So I suggested he find something simple to draw and we would jazz it up with foil. A candy cane was all I could get out of him. So I scanned it and printed out 12 copies with my laser printer. The sentiment uses Raleigh's handwritten font. After I foiled the first one, I realized that I had a beautiful negative of it that I couldn't waste. But putting it on the black toner sheet wasn't going to work. The candy cane needed white stripes. So I grabbed a piece of cardstock and my Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided sticky sheet and stuck on the foil. Then I covered the exposed sticky sheet with diamond microfine glitter. That card is very delicate. If you rub it too much the foil will come off and you'll end up with a sticky card, but it's pretty, and Raleigh liked it so much he kept one for himself.

Great way of using the negative foul. I think I did it once, usually I save it fir dabbing onto backgrounds. And I certainly didn't have that cool idea of adding glitter.
