I actually participated in a Watercolor Wednesday! Thanks for a quick and easy video! Although it took me all day. I kept sneaking into my craft room every time I had a few minutes. I'd do the next step of the video and then go back to work or feeding my kids or whatever. One of my main challenges with watercolor is how much water to use. As always I made two of these. This is the better one. I would work on the other one first, figure out what I did wrong and then get it right on this one. After I finished my painting I looked at it for a bit and was going to stick with just blue base and ink, but decided it would be fun to bring some red in. I never use this red ink, but I'm glad I did here.

Wonderfully done, Jen. I love the blue and red together (aren't these the color challenge colors too?). Wonderful shading and shadows and hanger plus your scene is gorgeous! Love this. Hugz

This is gorgeous! I overworked mine; I love how much white space you kept in your ornament. The tree in the forefront is lovely, and I love the color movement at the top. Stunning. Glad you were able to join us!

Like how you approach a challenge. It works for you; this is fantastic how you got your paint to move. I really like the highlight of the bauble holder. This water coloring can be addictive. Right! Thanks for sharing your talent.

Very nicely done and I can definitely see your painting style in this. Interesting how we have all developed a bit of our own flair through this journey! Glad you took time to wet a brush and palette today.
