The bg was created from stamp images found on-line, cut out and laid in a collage fashion on the base. The bird was stamped on watercolor paper, watercolored and then cut out. Pine needles were added with watercolor on the bg, white acrylic highlights added and the red berries with Nuvo drops.

Sallie, that is the most adorable and beautifully colored little bird! Love the postal bg (so clever of you to create this) and your hand painted greenery with berries.

Sallie, this is such a sweet stamp! I love English robins and had the opportunity to see them on my first trip to Scotland in 2008. I would buy a whole book of these festive stamps if they were available at my post office!

Stunning and creative! The BG is a clever idea and the watercolor/shading on this adorable bird is beautiful. The die-cut BG color and the framing are excellent...

Your robin is so sweet. The greenery almost seems to blend in to the collaged background and be part of it. I really like all the bird-themed postal stamp images you found.

The additional pine needles added to the stamp images is Perfect, Sallie, and so is your little bird! A lovely array of stamps to fill in your postage die-cut.
