I've got this mini DSP block since ages and when I saw this photo backdrop I thought that's what I can do, I've torn several papers from that block and inked the edges, glued tem randomly over a piece of card stock, one finished I've varnished this and took a piece of acetate and covered gluing it on the back side, then I've added it to a white card stock base and with the white gel pen added some dots, difficult to picture looks much better in real life

I think it's super interesting and I bet it is very neat in person. the acetate throws that glare on the photo. I have a bunch of rice paper and this is a great use of that! THANKS for inspiring me : )
