Side fold rust card with an ivory die cut piece over an ugly large leaf print paper. Can't really use it as a card front. Cut 7 die cut ovals to form a pumpkin in 2 shades of orange so the back would be darker. This was the hardest part of my card. Stamped my banner on 2 layers with gold thread ties. Finished with chalk ground/shadow. Finished with mat spray to seal. Inside is just stamping. Thanks to all for looking and for taking the time to let me know you visited.

I love your pumpkin, Betty. It was worth all the cutting you did. The die is so pretty, too, with the paper behind it. Wonderful verse inside. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Clever way of creating a very dimensional pumpkin with various ovals. It really stands out. Lovely design with the die cut and fall background paper. Another wonderful card, Betty. TFS
Love the ugly leaf print under the die cut. You just see enough of it to think it is a lovely watercolor in the perfect colors. Lovely pumpkin with the ovals. I want to do that. Also, I have dies like that and never know how to use them. Thanks for all the inspiration, Betty.

I just love your creativity. I would need to have an actual pumpkin die but not you. You see the world differently and more creatively. Love that you were able to disguise your "ugly" paper with this peek-a-boo window. Wonderful card and your inside sentiment is a beautiful reminder for the season as well as daily living.
