This is what inspired me today: https://www.catchmyparty.com/parties...-holiday-party
This is also for Wednesday's WCW-pine branch with a bauble. I'm really happy with how this turned out, except for the fact that I got carried away with the background color. I don't dislike it for that but it was hard to add the bauble. I did sketch it before I wet the paper and started to paint but I used too much pigment. I used metallic paints for the bauble, some pens and a shading pencil.
The card isn't finished because I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with this and I'm traveling and didn't bring any Christmas sentiments with me. Always forget something.
Thanks for the challenges!

I love the colors in the background well all the colors Jean, but I meant how soft the colorflow is of those colors in the background. ( mine went the way of a blurry starbursting flower type blobs) so, to me this is really gorgeous.

Oh, your branches came out so beautifully! I love that you chose blue for the bauble, and using metallic watercolour on it was genius! I think your background turned out lovely as well. Great card!

I love the blue bauble. That is the color I would have used if not red. Your branch and needles look so pretty and woodsy.

Like your painting of the soft pines. You really created very realistic pine needles. The soft blue ornament looks amazing. Like the flow of your background. Another pretty card in the gallery. TFS
