This is my SIL's birthday card. She was born on Christmas day and doesn't like red poinsettias, as she usually had those on her cake. I try to stay as far away from winter type colors and flowers as possible, for her birthday. The flowers and leaves were die cut, colored with distress oxide inks and blending brushes. I trimmed down the white panel, embossed it with the stitched diamonds plate and placed it on the summer sunrise card base. I die cut a couple of circles, attached them and then arranged the flowers and leaves. I added a few half pearls for some bling. I got the layout idea from a card made by Dilay Nacar sometime back.

Love the pierced diamond background. Your colours are very cheerful and somewhat spring-like. A pleasant change from red and green for sure! Super birthday card for a Christmas baby. :-)

Oh your sister will love this. I can imagine how hard it is having a Christmas birthday. Love the cover die bg for these pretty flowers. I think this is a lovely card for her.
