I have had this set for a while but hadnât played with the flower stamps and Dianeâs cards gave me the push I needed (and also a handy guide to how the flower parts go together).
Iâm also submitting for the Free For All theme for today of birthday cards.
I also used pieces of the giant OSW project I am working on, these cards combine the E and I pieces from the diagram:
I guess technically to do the OSW right, these should be on separate cards but I noticed how nicely they layered together. I made 4 cards like this all together, two of each color background.
I trimmed light blue and light green cardstock panels slightly smaller than the cardbase and dry embossed with the birthday folder, then attached to the card front . I layered together the squares of pattern paper and attached to card front.
I stamped the flowers and centers using SU Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight inks, and leaves using Parakeet Party ink, then die cut all the pieces and assembled the flowers. I glued the stems to the card and attached the flowers with foam tape. I die cut the sentiment and shadow, glued together, and attached to card with foam tape. I stamped the smaller sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and cut out, gluing in place under the large Sending. I finished the cards with a sprinkling of gem stickers.
belated congratulations to Diane, hope your week was a blast!

They are both so happy and fun and that fun starts with that wonderful daisy stamp/die. It looks super on both bgs, but I have to admit to being a bit partial to the dots. I do love dots. A great set of cards.
