Well, this was pure fun! As always, I would do a few things differently the next time. My paper was very dry even after wetting it, so the first layers of colors didn't flow as much as in the video. I will work on that the next time. I enjoyed painting and can't wait to make more Christmas cards! Thanks so much to Brenda for bringing this sweet tutorial to us.

Angela, this is so lovely!! I hear you about figuring out how much water you need. The big factor is what paper you use, so err on the wet side to get the flowy, luminous look we all want with our watercolor paintings. I hope to try this one today.

I love the dry brush look on your pine needles, I think it turned out fabulously! I love the pinky red of your Christmas ornament as well, it's just stunning against the greens! Beautiful!

Lovely Christmas card, Angie. I think pine needles look great...a dry brush look that gives the appearance of fine snow. Wonderful flow of those branches which frame your lovely pink ornament.
