Today's WTUI theme is Book Club. I've been an avid reader ever since I learned to read when I was 5. At the end of a busy day I always have the pleasure of settling down with whatever I'm reading. This vintage image is one I love, as is the quote since I also love to garden. I am in a book group that has been together for nearly 40 years : ) This month we are reading "Tom Lake" by Ann Patchett.

I couldn't agree more with this quote!! How fun..I love the girl. I can't believe you've been in a book club that long..wow! That book is on my request list....I'm way down on the list but they have quite a few copies. I have a great library here. TFS!

This is a lovely vintage image, Claudia, beautifully designed card with the flowers and fabulous quote! I, too, love reading and our Book Club has been together for a long time and we are reading ‘Before The Coffee Gets Cold Tales From The Cafe’ by Toshikazu Kawaguchi this month.

Cicero certainly knew what he was talking about. I've read a couple of Ann Patchett books, but not that one. I like the vintage look of your images stamped on the DP.
