This is for a girlfriend who loves to sail, hence the more feminine colors. The main image is watercolored, then sprayed with a gloss sealer which gave it a nice finish and intensified the color. I traced around the inner frame with a Gelly Roll Stardust glitter pen--just another girly touch. The shells were all stamped on faux mother of pearl over polished stone. The photo doesn't really show how cool they look, but maybe you can imagine.
