I am on a mission to use all my new goodies in the 'unused' category in my Evernote inventory. So even though this stencil is probably meant for spring time, I used it with deep reds to make poppies.
The thing that really fascinated me about my inspiration this week was the idea of layering a lighter colour behind the deeper colour for the flowers and leaves. I think the stamp set used was meant for this, but I thought why can't I just shift my stencil a bit to let those lighter colours show through.

Ardyth, this is a beautiful case of the inspiration card. I do like how you allowed the lighter edge of the flowers to show. The pink, bright red and green are so vibrant and show off your Thank You sentiment perfectly.

Fancy stenciling, Ardyth. Those flowers totally stand out and the way you did that great sentiment makes it stand out even more. Stunning Thank you card! I have got to get more stencils! Hugz

Wonderful case Ardyth. I like your big thank you on your gorgeous stencilling. And shifting that stencil was genius. I like the subtle gold splattering.
