Julie is our hostess and has a great site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by this image. Die cut my leaf out of water color and used some distressed inks and oxides. Smooshed the ink on and then embossed it again. Sprayed it with some glimmer mist. Sponged the background and then embossed it. Popped the leaf up before adding a sentiment and embellishing.

Oh goodness what a fun inspiration you chose - reminds me of how we used to make ornaments out of a flour dough my mum would make - such a pretty yellow leaf, front and center with your fading blue sky inked above - lovely texture added with your embossed background too!

I'm in love with this card! The fade-to-white background and the contrast colors are amazing! I've got to do this style soon! Thank you for the inspiration!
