I am delighted to be your host for this last Falliday Fest project. These are some easy directions to round out the challenges.
Use a tree (or more than one), some sponging, and include at least one word.
I started with a torn piece of lightweight paper as a mask, sponged blue at top for the sky, then sponged green below that. I stamped the trees by inking the stamp in Garden Green, and coloring the trunk with an Early Espresso marker, huffed on the stamp and made impression. Repeat for second tree. I colored in the trunk a little more with the marker. Sponged some green and brown underneath the trees and stamped some splatter. I decided this one was a masculine birthday card, so stamped Happy Birthday. After all, there are birthdays during the holidays. Layered on wood grain paper and onto the card base. Added some metallic dots.
There you have it. Have fun with the trees! TFL
