I had entirely different plans when I set out to make some cards today, but ended up puttering around and using bits and pieces I had started for other projects. Last year I had found some neat looking textured wall tiles in Dollar Tree that looked like they would look good on cards. I had cut one up and mounted several pieces on black and white cardstock but had never finished them. Today I made a black A2 card base from cardstock and glued the card front to it. Then I die cut the happy birthday sentiment from gold cardstock and the shadow sentiment from black, glued together and glued to the card front. I had several partial card fronts so was able to make two more cards like this one.
USEIT2023 - Finishing several partially completed cards, possibly first use of the birthday sentiment and shadow die.

I like the multiple layers of matting and how shiny the card is with the background and sentiment. The scripty font is very pretty. This is a lovely card!
