Color Challenge hosted by Mary: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Blueberry Bushel. The dessert option is scarecrow and/or green. I used green as it was perfect for the image.
Falliday Fest Challenge hosted by Misti: Fall Farmers Market inspiration photo
In the photo, the bountiful harvest, line patterns & textures inspired me. This stamp is made to look distressed which I thought fit right in with the theme. I inked the stamp with markers and then huffed on it before stamping. My Pumpkin Pie marker is worn out, so I subbed with Tangelo Twist.
On a thin paper, I glued down the DSP strips, then die-cut with a stitched rectangle. Also, I die-cut the image, popped it up on Dimensionals. Lastly, I tied a natural ribbon on the side.
Have fun with the colors! Hope you will join in with the CC & Falliday Fest challenges. TFL

This is a great card for both challenges Diane. I like your take on the inspiration photo and the distressed look of the corn + the sentiment you used - such a wonderful way to send blessings to someone.

Adorable! I love the color blocking with those different patterns and how beautifully they coordinate. I immediately noticed how the blue stripes in the stamp echoed your prints and that you placed the blue color block in the center so those strips were over the other colors -- smart designing; great look. Love the main image and your stamping/inking looks fabulous. What a cheerful, uplifting card to share with family or friends. Fantastic job.

Diane, I love how you used the three strips of DS paper, especially that they are all different patterns. They make an interesting background for your focal image. It's a great image for fall and a wonderful greeting!

Your patchwork background couldn't be more perfect for this image. I'm ancient in terms of Stampin' Up! and this one has me puzzled? The die shape looks familiar but I cannot place the image. I guess there are too many of them floating around my scrambled brain.
