Teapotters Challenge for Jane for encouragement & use butterflies.
I used the colors from the Color Challenge I hosted last week: Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry with texture as the dessert option.
Stamped in the collage image on watercolor paper (texture) and used ink & water brushes to color it. I used dies to cut the image and layers. On the card base, I heat embossed the sentiment (texture) and added a scrap of mesh (texture) from my stash. It is so soft & wispy. Put the layers on top. Final touch was some Wink of Stella sparkle on the butterfly wings & flower centers.
Thanks for looking!

Oh Diane, I was already loving that color combo but even more so now. Your card looks stellar with them. Love the rich warm tone of the cajun craze for the base and how the yellow and blue play off it in the design. Wonderful collage stamp and you have displayed and colored it so beautifully. Fabulous card.

Diane, that is one of those images that has a special appeal to so many of us .... just love how you colored and matted it. Love the beautiful way your cheesecloth drapes and adds that special texture.

Simply beautiful! Your coloring is so lovely! And what a creative touch to add the gauze.
