Sabrina gave us a challenge to use the theme 'wild, wild west'. I decided to start making some Christmas cards and took a reference pic from the internet of a pair of cowboy boots. sketched and filled it with winter greenery. Hand penned the simple sentiment with the micron pen. I do it first with a pencil and ruler, than go over with the micron pen and erase the pencil marks. TFL

Linda, Another beautiful watercolor masterpiece. You and Sallie are dominating my favorites gallery. This card just touches my Texan heart and is so beautifully done.

Beautiful Christmas card for the riding family ~ my brother and sister in law and their kids used to ride Western and compete in all kinds of events. This card makes me think of them. Beautiful winter greenery you have added to these fabulous boots and such pretty hand writing!

Amazing...everything is shaded perfectly and the wispiness of the greenery is spot on. The little extra holly berry by the sentiment is a great detail.
