When I saw the technique challenge to do a gilded leaf, I immediately thought of these cute leaf critters I had pinned. He is wishing a happy day to his recipient, but it looks like he could use one himself. The colour challenge supported my rusty wolf/fox perfectly

Oh Michelle, you have me beaming with this delightful card. I love how you turned your leaf into this adorable fox. Yeah, he looks like he could start his winter hibernation, but that just adds to the "cute" factor here. So fun and so creative. Fabulous card.

He does look a bit of an Eeyore sad sack but I think he looks mostly like Wily Coyote from Roadrunner fame. How clever and fun of you to think of this.
