This was my first attempt at a faux shutter card. I made a couple of patterned papers for the card. Using ink pads, I placed inks on my craft sheet, sprayed with water and dipped the SU Handcarved background stamp into the mixture and stamped on the cream cardstock. It gives a nice variegated pattern. Using the same inks and a couple of smaller stamps I stamped directly onto a second sheet of cardstock to form the coordinating paper. I stamped the sentiment with Old Olive ink. After assembling the pieces I added a die cut branch and three tinsel gems.
