My inspiration came from this bedroom. For my background I used distress oxides in red hues. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. There are further details on my blog found here.

Oh yes! I have many fond memories of snow days, both when I attended school, and when my kids were there. Such a blessing to have a bonus day. In those days we often cut out snowflakes, and that is what this large snowflake reminds me of. So distinctive against the red background.
