Back at the Watercolor Wednesday challenges today. So glad that Brenda gave us an easy one! I always enjoy the Ellen Crimi-Trent videos. This one was fun with the credit card birch trees. I used acrylic paint for my trees, because I was sure that if I used watercolor it was going to run. I found a picture of some birch trees online and used that to inspire my trees and colors. I'm happy with the way it came out and I could have left it as a classy, pretty watercolor painting, but I felt like it needed a critter. So I stamped and fussy cut this cute beaver and used this punny sentiment to make a fun belated birthday card. I need a lot of those since I missed like everyone's birthday this year.

Your acrylic trees turned out great and I do love that beaver. Just the perfect sentiment for your belated birthday cards, too. Awesome card and so cute. Glad to see you painting with us this week.

Beautiful...I love the bg colors. I thought this would work with acrylics, too...good idea. Very cute beaver...I think who ever gets this won't mind it's late.
