I chose some fabric with Christmas trees on it. The sentiment BG was stamped on vellum cardstock, using versamark and embossed with white satin pearl embossing powder. It was placed over a smooshed BG I'd made, using evergreen bough and barn door distress inks on watercolor paper. The trees were cut from white velvet cardstock and attached. The frame was added in aqua mist paper, cut with the Penny Black stitched loops die. Here's my inspiration.

The embossed vellum over your background created such a lovely ethereal look Sue - lovely unexpected colors for winter/Christmas! The die cut framing is so pretty with its edge and the tree shapes are wonderful!

I was thinking on what beautifully soft colors you sponged in the bg then read you had embossed some vellum to use as an overlay - WTG! It gives the feeling of the silence on mountain hillside after a snowfall. Beautiful work.
