Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given me a chance to play with my adorable little duckie! The colors are Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Lemon-Lime Twist. The dessert option is "Anything Goes." My dessert option is Pumpkin Pie.
This card doesn't require a lot of explanation. Just die cut a gazillion teensy pieces, sponge them with the same color ink, and glue them all together. I used the Lemon-Lime twist "full strength" by smooshing a couple of pieces into the ink pad to get a darker shade.
This card will go to a friend who recently had surgery. She's not progressing as quickly as she would like, so I hope this cute duck will cheer her up.
These colors are so pretty, and go together so well. What will you make with them?

A ducky was the perfect choice for daffodil yellow and this guy looks quite dapper and happy in his lemon twist rain gear. You did a fabulous job both in inking and assembling ALL those gazillion teensy pieces. And I love the puffy clouds in the sky. Honestly, it's looking like blue skies ahead and I hope that the case for your friend. She is sure to have a big smile and warmed heart when she receives this. Fantastic card.
