This week Susan has us using packaging or even old catalogs or clothing tags. I used an old catalog page sent to me by Teresa aka Aztk (thanks sweet friend). To keep the paper safe, I attached it with Gesso and added some on the top too. This is a very, very old.
I embossed the sentiment added Stickles dots to it and some of the left lady's dress and earing.
Boy am I glad I don't have to fit in one of those dresses. They are pretty but look super uncomfortable. I can imagine their conversation is something like, "there is no way I can eat any of this food or the buttons will pop off this dress."
Fun challenge (and it really was a challenge for me).

This is a beautiful vintage catalogue photo, Nancy, I loved the gorgeous dresses worn back then but agree they wouldn’t have been too comfortable to wear! The sentiment looks terrific, too, this is a fabulous card!

This is so cool and vintage, what a great catalogue ad turned into a card! Sentiment fits perfectly (as do those dresses - and I agree with your observation in that regard - no thanks, lol). This card is definitely ready for framing. Great work!

This is not your usual style but you really made the most of those ladies in their "uncomfortable" dresses (no wonder they had fainting couches). You had the perfect image to use...how nice of Teresa to send you this. Great card.

So happy you rose to the challenge with a gifted beginning, Nancy! I LUV your updated alterations…I’d certainly wear the sleek blue asymmetrical jacket with the ‘fur’ collar. Hello gorgeous, indeed!
