This was done playing along with the tutorial Angie shared this week for painting through a stencil. I don't really buy stencils with huge openings but, I decided to try this with this one as I thought the holes were big enough to dab a brush in. I did keep the water to a damp level rather than soaking because, I didn't know for sure how well it was going to stick to the paper but, that part worked OK for me. Fabulous job using this stencil, Stacy, and I know what you mean about not getting it too wet. I tried to use a plaid stencil but I think some spots got to wet and got under the stencil. Too bad.
