Sometimes, the world just doesn't feel quite right, and you feel stuck in your tracks. I've found that if I get up, get going, and paint a rainbow, I find some solace and can hear the Lord's still, small voice once more.
It was on such a day that the idea for this card was birthed. I won this adorable stamp set well over a year ago, but because of the sheer size of this precious lion, I was at a loss of how to use him given the small surface area of a standard A2-sized card.

Such a sweet lion for your card and I love how you put color to it. The twine looks great, too, and a wonderful sentiment. I liked what you said in your first paragraph about finding solace. Hugs.....

I Love this wet on wet painting of your Adorable lion, Chrissy! Rainbows are so beautiful and were meant as a sign that God will never destroy the earth again by water. I also love the way you added your sentiment. Very sweet creation and thank you for sharing it with us to enjoy~ Hugs

This is such a sweet and unique lion and I love the way you've added water color to this card. I like the way you've cut up that greeting for this fun placement.

Such an adorable card, Chrissy. Love the sweet lion with his rainbow mane. At first glance, I thought it was a fancy daisy, but the lion's face makes it all the sweeter.

This is so sweet, Chrissy. I really like how you did your adorable lion pulling the various colors out for this lovely watercolor effect. A delightful card to encourage someone.
