My card for the Color Challenge hosted by Chris. Her fabulous colors are Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green with DSP for the dessert option.
I wanted to try the Fractured Card technique. My SCS friend, CJ had sent me a card in this style. Then, I started to see it all over the Internet. When I found a DSP in my stash with the red & pink challenge colors, it was time to make it happen. I laid down the DSP on a Granny Apple Green mat. I die-cut a stitched square, stamped a sentiment and adhered it to the DSP. I cut strips in the same color as mat and laid them one by one around the square in the manner you see here. I decorated with Shaded Spruce die-cut foliage, a sparkly red glimmer bow and some pink jewels.
I like to have some cards on hand that are Christmassy but are not totally dedicated to being a Christmas card. This one could be for Christmas, but also could be a thank you, thinking of you or even a birthday card. Good to have in the stash!
Thanks Chris for the wonderful colors. Hope everyone will join in with their creativity. I am so looking forward to seeing what everyone makes! TFL

Your sentiment is Perfect because these colors are definitely Bright, Diane. Such a pretty technique using the wide striped dp and then adding the bright green strips to outline your sentiment. Love the sparkle and bling~
