This is my sample for CC965. Chris is our hostess, and she chose granny apple green, melon mambo, poppy parade and shaded spruce for her color combo. Dessert option is designer paper.
For my card, I decided to try making it Christmas with these colors. I started by used the Blooming Holiday Cutting Plate from Taylored Expressions and I cut in white cardstock.
Layered that panel on a piece of shaded spruce cardstock. I wasn't sure what color I would use for my card base and then decided on the shaded spruce. So I have the shaded spruce double layered here.
Then I cut the image again in melon mambo and did the die inlay technique. I cut only the greenery stems in granny apple green and also did the die inlay.
My "joy to the world tree" is cut in shaded spruce. I added the ornaments in poppy parade, added a gold star and the tree base in soft suede.
That's my card for this week. I hope you can play along with us. The team is looking forward to seeing how you use these colors.

Mary, this card is wonderful! I love the inlaid technique you used and especially that great word/tree die. The Shaded Spruce base is perfect to set off the other colors; they really pop on the white layer!
